Search for the next Embry-Riddle President has concluded

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Board of Trustees has named Dr. P. Barry Butler, Executive Vice President and Provost at the University of Iowa, as the sixth president of the world’s leading institution of higher education focusing on aviation, aerospace and research.

Florida-based firm Greenwood/Asher & Associates led the executive search and worked in conjunction with a University search committee made up of trustees, faculty, staff and students. Mori Hosseini, Embry-Riddle Board of Trustees Chairman and three-time Embry-Riddle alumnus, chaired the group.
