Campuses

Student Achievement

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is comprised of three campuses with distinct populations.  The student achievement goals are established at the university level; however, the activities and measures vary by campus, and so are reported separately below.

Goal 1: To maintain or improve student retention at ERAU each academic year

A new methodology was employed as of the 2008 cohort, to align with the IPEDS full-year cohort method instead of the previous fall-term cohort method. This significantly altered the cohort of interest:

  • Full-year, full-time cohort: Entered ERAU-WW in any session that began over the course of a full year (Sept-Aug). Enrolled for at least six credit hours in that first session. 2008 cohort (Sept 2008 – Aug 2009) = 432 students. 2009 cohort (Sept 2009 – Aug 2010) = 536 students.
  • Fall-term, full-time cohort: Entered ERAU-WW in any session that began July-Oct only. Enrolled for a grand total of at least 12 credit hours during July-Oct. 2007 cohort (July 2007 – Oct 2007) = 24 students.
  • Both methods exclude those enrolled at international sites (per IPEDS) and reflect just first-time, bachelor’s degree-seeking students
