Our Mission

It is the mission of the Office of Career Services to provide quality comprehensive career-related services and resources, empowering students by giving them the tools necessary to excel in today's highly competitive global employment market. The Office of Career Services facilitates connections between students and employers for the purpose of promoting productive employment opportunities for both experiential learning and full-time careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Introduction -- What We Do

Welcome to the Web site of the Career Services office. This site is designed to provide Embry-Riddle's students, alumni, and employers with information and services helpful in the employment search and recruitment process.

Through this site you will be able to get information about our Industry/Career Expos, view a list of upcoming events, access your EagleHire account, get help with resume writing and interviewing, and make use of other valuable Web services.

The Career Services Resource Library and Web site offer students and alumni job search tools including interview tips, alumni networking, sample resumes and cover letters, company information, cooperative education/internship opportunities, and a Web-based resume referral system.

Industry/Career Expos are held in the fall on the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses. In addition, the Career Services Office hosts company visits throughout the year to recruit students for both full-time and cooperative education/internship opportunities, and to provide information sessions.

The Career Services Office employs a staff of Program Managers to provide one-on-one career advisement, mock interviews and resume critique services. Students are strongly encouraged to contact their Program Manager to schedule an appointment prior to arrival if they are seeking one-on-one career related advising including full time, co-op or internship information. Walk-ins may sign up for the next available appointment time that will not conflict with any previously scheduled appointment time, no earlier than 15 minutes after contacting our office.

The Career Services Office staff encourages students to contact us early in their education to explore career options and develop a successful job search strategy.
