FAA Medicals

Students who anticipate taking flight courses at Embry-Riddle must be able to pass and maintain a class one or class two medical certificate. Students must renew their certificates annually in order to continue flight training at the university. Medical certificates can only be obtained from physicians certified by the FAA to perform the qualifying physical examination.
For additional information on medical certification or to locate an Aviation Medical Examiner in your area you may consult the following Web site: www.flightphysical.com

Note: Certain conditions, congenital or acquired, and the medications or therapies that control their symptoms may prevent, delay or invalidate medical certification. We encourage students to consult with an Aviation Medical Examiner regarding any current condition or medical problem as well as those experienced within the past three years.
