Health Insurance

Health insurance coverage is not required for domestic students but is highly recommended. We encourage students and their parents to examine insurance options as plans and premiums vary widely.

Please be aware that many HMO plans do not cover non-emergency medical expenses when a student is "out of network". Other plans have preferred providers one must use when seeking health care outside of the plan network. It is important to be aware of coverage limits before you have a health care need.
