The Spirit Rock
Embry-Riddle is proud to announce the addition of an exciting landmark to the Daytona Beach campus. An 8,260-lb. boulder, called "The Spirit Rock," has been placed next to the pool complex and is designed for students, faculty, and staff to promote their organizations, announce upcoming events, and display Embry-Riddle spirit. The catch is - you have to paint it.
Standing at roughly five feet tall and six feet wide, the "Spirit Rock" is available to students, clubs & student organizations, residence hall floors, athletic & intramural teams, campus departments, etc.
The "Spirit Rock" concept is quite popular across the country at numerous colleges, universities, and high schools. This unique addition to our campus will build upon and strengthen the traditions and quality programs for the Embry-Riddle student body.
The "Spirit Rock" is dedicated by Orientation Services and the Chancellor's Office.
