About the Aviation Maintenance Science Degree
The Aviation Maintenance Science (AMS) degree is a fundamental
part of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, America's most respected

Programs Offered
An essential part of the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Science
degree program is “hands-on” training and FAA certification for the
Airframe & Powerplant (A &P) certificate. An additional certification
program in Avionics Line Maintenance (ALM)
is also available. Both programs are offered through the Charles Taylor
Aviation Maintenance Science Department. (Who

1. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician certification
is a 16-month, FAA-approved learning intensive combining classroom theory
