The Office of Student Activities

The staff in the Office of Student Activities works to develop an active campus life by providing opportunities for students to realize their academic and personal potential through involvement and activities. The staff advises and oversees, Touch-N-Go Productions, the Student Government Association, the Homecoming committee, more than 100 Student Organizations, Fraternity and Sorority life, the Information Center, the Eagle Information Channel and the Volunteer Network. The Office of Student Activities helps students connect to the University through leadership development programs, student organizations, and other student involvement opportunities. The office is located on the first floor of the Student Center on the south end of the building

Aaron Clevenger
Director of Student Activities

As Director, Aaron is responsible for the overall efforts of the department, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the needs of students are being met in the most efficient manner. He serves as advisor to Touch-N-Go Productions/campus entertainment, the Avion, and as chair of the Homecoming Committee.

Heather Kenney
Assistant Director -- Student Government

Heather is advisor to all entities of the Student Government Association (SGA); the executive, legislative, and judicial branches and divisions. She also manages the SGA budget and SGA services.

Lauren Moran
Assistant Director -- Fraternity and Sorority Life and Volunteer Services

Lauren oversees all affairs dealing with fraternities and sororities including alumni/parent relations, housing, judicial concerns, recruitment, and programming. She directly advises the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council, as well as individual members and chapters. Lauren also oversees the Volunteer Network and is involved with leadership training.

Amy Vaughan
Assistant Director -- Leadership and Student Involvement

Amy oversees the registration and training of 140 student organizations, officers, and advisors. She is responsible for maintaining the Blackboard online management system that keeps track of the clubs. She provides resources and opportunities for involvement through programs and community services. Amy designs learning opportunities for students to enhance their leadership skills through workshops, retreats, and conferences such as the Leadership Education Series and the Student Activities Leadership Workshop. Another program Amy runs in the Emerging Leaders Program for first-year students. She's also an advisor for Touch-N-Go Productions, the student programming board.

Anne Stokes
Campus Event Information Manager

Anne supervises the Information Center and distributes event information for the Daytona Beach Campus. She administers the online resource scheduler and coordinates the logistics for all events that occur in the John Paul Riddle Student Center and adjacent areas. She also oversees the sound and setup crews for these areas.

Rebecca Simonds
SGA Office Coordinator

Rebecca Simonds manages Student Government Association operations for the Office of Student Activities. She is responsible for coordinating daily office operations, supervising the student assistants, and helping the SGA students maintain a functional office. She assists with the department's budget, oversees the Safe Ride program, and coordinates the Class Ring program.

Diana Holt
Student Activities Office Coordinator

Diana Holt manages the Student Activities Department operations. She is responsible for coordinating daily office operations and supervising the student assistants. She assists with the department's budget, schedules room reservations for clubs and organizations and compiles the People + Places News.
