Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers two different campuses at opposite ends of the country. The year-round clear flying weather and the resort communities surrounding our residential campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, offer students outstanding environments in which to study, fly, and enjoy recreational activities.

Prescott is a mile-high city on the Colorado Plateau, a beautiful geologic region that is home to the largest stand of ponderosa pine trees in the world. The campus is approximately 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, 260 miles southeast of Las Vegas, and 375 miles east of Los Angeles.

Prescott’s climate reflects seasonable weather, with daytime averages of 80 degrees F. in the summer and 45 degrees F. in the winter. Prescott enjoys more than 300 days a year of clear flying weather. The local mountains exhibit the spirit of the rugged west and students enjoy snow skiing, hiking, and tours of the diverse region. Embry-Riddle’s 178-acre Daytona Beach Campus is adjacent to the Daytona Beach International Airport, and only 10 minutes from the beautiful shores of Daytona Beach. Within an hour’s drive are the Kennedy Space Center, Sea World, and historic St. Augustine.

The 300 graduate and 4,500 undergraduate students come from all 50 United States and more than 100 countries. This contributes to a culturally diverse learning environment.
