Activities
 The
College of Arts and Sciences sponsors
The Arts and Letters program. The series brings performers and speakers
from the arts and humanities to campus. The university community and
the public are welcome to attend. Visit the Arts and Letters site to
see the 2006-2007
schedule of events.
Also
be sure to check out the Transit
of Venus video. The College of Arts and Sciences and the Department
of Physical Sciences hosted the June 2004 viewing event. The video
shows images of Venus as it passes between the Sun and Earth along with
many early morning campus visitors who came to see the rare astronomical
occurence. The event was free and open to the public.
