On October 26, 2006, members of the Embry-Riddle communitiy gathered to witness and celebrate the groundbreaking of Embry-Riddle's newest academic building. The academic building will serve as home to the College of Business.
The new building will allow -- for the first time -- all the business faculty and business-related research facilities to be located in a single building.
The first floor will include four classrooms, four computer labs, and a case room with four small breakout rooms. The case room will be used for collaborative decision making exercises. The second floor will include five additional classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, conferences rooms, and graduate research facilities.
The University anticipates a Spring 2008 opening.

To the right, a construction crew begins to form the walls of the new Academic Building. Check back often to see a new snapshot of the latest progress or click on the green link to the right to view the construction live via webcam. In the background you can see the plywood covering the facial damage to Simultion Center from the Christmas Day Tornado strike to the Daytona Beach Campus. Currently housed in the Simulation Center is the College of Business' Aviation Operation Simulation Lab.
