General Aviation Accidents Statistical Analysis

General Aviation Airports Funding Strategies

The scope of this project is to adopt quantitative analyses to find patterns among fatal and non-fatal general aviation accidents based on their contributing factors.

The United States accounts for nearly 50 percent of all general aviation (GA) activity worldwide. To support this activity, communities throughout the U.S have developed and are maintaining airports, both large and small, which provide access to the national air transportation system. Many of the smaller airports are not able to sustain themselves financially. The analysis of GA airport funding strategies is an in-depth look at every aspect of challenges and opportunities of GA airport financing.
