Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics offers a full range of undergraduate mathematics courses to support all Embry-Riddle degree programs, including graduate courses in support of the M.S. in Aerospace Engineering program.  In addition, the department offers a popular minor in mathematics.

Lehman Center, Daytona Beach

Currently  the department has 22 full-time faculty who have a variety of research interests. The department has proposed a degree in Computational Science and Mathematics. Computational science uses mathematics, computers, and science to inquire about the world in an authentic manner. Curriculum initiatives include expanded use of modeling and data visualization tools to help students understand mathematical ideas in a scientific context.
