The Aviation Maintenance graduate certificate is an online 12-credit program. The dedicated curriculum addresses aviation maintenance leadership and best resource management practices from a global perspective as the concepts apply to the aviation maintenance industry.
The program offers a broad understanding of the advanced topics of the leadership of aviation maintenance organizations, Maintenance
Resource Management (MRM) principles, strategic management concepts for MROs, and project management techniques that apply to aviation maintenance.
Students earn 12 graduate-level credits, which go towards a master’s degree at Embry-Riddle. This program leads students towards the online Master of Aviation Maintenance degree by taking 18 additional graduate credits.
Today the changing environment of aviation maintenance requires leaders who are well versed in diverse aviation platforms and emerging technologies. More importantly, aviation maintenance managers need expertise in project management, strategic planning and a global perspective of the industry. Aviation maintenance is an expansive field and this certificate is designed for students working in a wide range of industry sectors such as the military, airlines, MROs, FBOs, repair stations, governmental agencies and others engaged in managing day to day processes in the aviation maintenance industry.
