About Space Systems at the Worldwide & Online Campus
The Space Systems graduate certificate is an online 12-credit program. This specialized curriculum addresses space as applied to the current global space industry.
The program offers a broad understanding of the different aspects of the global space industry, including Applications in Space (Commerce, Defense, Exploration), Space Mission and Launch Operations, Space Habitation and Life Support Systems, Remote Sensing and Satellite Operations.
In addition to the certificate, students earn 9 graduate-level credits, which can go towards a Master of Science in Aeronautics, a Master of Science in Aviation and Aerospace Sustainability, or a Master of Science in Unmanned Systems.
The Space Systems graduate certificate is designed for students interested in expanding their knowledge of space operations, including engineers, manufacturers, operational personnel, and regulators.
Note: Certificate programs are not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
