About half of NASA/Johnson Space Center’s most recently hired flight controllers were Embry-Riddle graduates.
Embry-Riddle is very homeschooler friendly. If you have gone to co-ops while you were homeschooled it is very similar to that. The transition was easy for me because of the small class sizes, the small size of the university and the helpful professors. They offer me advice, know me by name, and know exactly what I need help with.
As we toured campus and discovered the possibilities, I knew Dakota was making a decision that would fit his hands-on learning approach and field of interest. As a homeschool parent I was pleased with the interaction between students, staff and professors, and the positive attitude towards learning.
In my observation, homeschooled students perform very well at Embry-Riddle because they are already comfortable with the direct faculty-student interaction that is our trademark.
There are no additional admissions requirements for homeschool students. Each of our campuses have the same admissions requirements. View our admission requirements below.
We recommend the electives and extra-curricular activities listed below because they promote project-based learning and allow students to explore and confirm their interests. Embry-Riddle offers scholarships for many of them.
