Structures Laboratory

The Structures Laboratory is a well-equipped research facility for structural testing of small to medium-scale test samples and structural components. The Laboratory also supports research activities related to development of smart structures, intelligent engineering systems, and cutting-edge structural evaluation techniques that offer significant advantages over existing approaches. The Laboratory is capable of testing structural components under static and dynamic loading with controllable temperatures. Polymeric smart actuator and energy observing smart structures can be developed and tested using lab equipment.
