Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory
The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory (RASL) provides dedicated workspaces for large unmanned system development and state-of-the-art sensors designed for integration on existing large-scale platforms for air, ground, and maritime domains. The laboratory is designed to accommodate for the needs of sense and avoid, swarms of cooperative autonomous and/or unmanned vehicles, and control scheme development for large platforms.
- Multitude of sensor and communications payloads integrated on state-of the-art robotics platforms for proof-of concept testing.
- Software Development and Systems Testing Suite featuring computers with high-end graphics cards, 128 GB of memory, and top-of-the-line processors.
- Netted High bay work area for indoor flight testing (home of the VICON motion capture system) and the capability to house large vehicle development.
