Wildlife Strike Database and Website Maintenance and Expansion of Graphics Applications to Web Search for General Aviation

PI Archie Dickey

An analysis of US airports for their suitability as test sites for a General Aviation (GA) AHAS was conducted. Approximately 100 airports were analyzed.

The result was a study of one airport into the development of a low-cost BAM system. Both positive and negative results were found using several datasets (i.e., eBird, Breeding Bird Survey, and Christmas Bird Count).
