  • We have an on-campus flight line adjacent to Daytona Beach International Airport and an innovative research park housing startups and established aerospace companies, with opportunities to participate in research projects.
  • The observatory deck atop the College of Arts and Sciences building features Florida's largest university-based research telescope.

Prescott, located among the mountains of Northern Arizona, is a mile-high city known for its friendly small-town vibe, its great climate for flying and its central location in the state.  

The surrounding mountains and lakes offer outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking and kayaking. Within a two-hour drive, you can visit the Grand Canyon, attend concerts and sporting events in Phoenix or go snowboarding in Flagstaff.

  • The Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium in our STEM Education Center offers year-round shows on a 360-degree screen, including student movie nights!
  • Our College of Business, Security and Intelligence is the only college of its kind and is home to our Cybersecurity “Hacker” Lab.
  • Get hands-on experience in the S. Harry Robertson Aircraft Accident Investigation Laboratory, also known as the Crash Lab, featuring eight acres of real crash scene recreations.
