Sediment Transport

The purpose of this study is to obtain results from well-controlled laboratory experiments for rough turbulent oscillatory boundary layers over wavy surfaces for both mean and second-order turbulent statistics.
The results will be used to validate a 2 and 3D turbulent model for oscillatory flows over sand ripples with particular focus on sediment transport.
