Make Decisions Using Data

Data science is the discipline of extracting actionable insights from structured and unstructured information to guide decision making across businesses, industry and government agencies. Available on both our Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, campuses, the Bachelor of Science in Data Science prepares students to excel in the data-driven world.

In the era of big data revolution, employers are looking for scientists and mathematicians to sort through, translate and analyze large amounts of data, resulting in a high demand for the role. Through a comprehensive curriculum, Embry-Riddle students learn skills to collect, manage, interpret and analyze data to assist in making data-driven decisions.

Our project-based approach, industry partnerships and emphasis on research and practical applications allow students to learn how to use techniques and theories drawn from mathematics, statistics and computer sciences and apply them to data-rich domains.
