At the Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI), you’ll build your English skills, make friends from around the world and prepare for your academic or professional future in the United States or anywhere your dreams take you.

About the Embry-Riddle Language Institute Program

ERLI is an intensive English program designed for speakers of other languages who want to improve their academic, professional and everyday English communication skills. Classes are taught in person by experienced instructors who specialize in teaching English for university and industry success.

You’ll learn both academic and aviation English and study full-time with other students at your English level — from high-beginner (level 2) to advanced (level 5) — while enrolled in five classes:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Listening and Speaking
  • Grammar
  • Special Topics

At the Daytona Beach Campus, you’re only minutes from the ocean! After class, you can relax on the sand, visit the Daytona International Speedway, explore the Museum of Arts and Sciences or walk through Tomoka State Park.

The Prescott Campus is surrounded by forests, mountains and lakes, where you can get a peaceful moment or get active on hiking trails. Enjoy the small-town charm of Prescott’s Courthouse Square, where there’s always something happening.

The ERLI program on the Daytona Beach Campus is CEA-accredited*, and both campuses are part of EnglishUSA, the leading association of U.S. English language programs.

  4. Enroll and prepare for your first term.

ERLI Start Dates

ERLI at the Daytona Beach Campus offers six terms a year. The Prescott Campus offers three terms a year.
