High Reliability Organization (HRO)

Few industries understand the importance of managing comprehensive business risks and associated business principles of an HRO better than the aviation industry. These principles emphasize the understanding and quantification of risk and building organizations with the ability to manage risks. The HRO theme and risk-related concepts are applicable to all industries.

A Message from the Dean

Dr. Maneesh Sharma, Dean of the College of Business
The HRO theme in our program is really unique and distinct. In today's world, every organization can benefit from a better understanding of systemic risk and how it can impact an organization moving forward. Most schools in this country and elsewhere don’t have a unifying theme across their graduate degrees.
