There are no additional admissions requirements for homeschool students. Each of our campuses has the same admissions requirements. View our admission requirements below.
Students may earn credit at Embry-Riddle through dual-enrollment courses or by achieving qualifying scores on AP, IB, CLEP or DSST exams. Contact your Admissions Counselor for specific required test scores and credit amounts.
The electives and extracurricular activities listed below promote project-based learning and allow students to explore and develop their interests. Embry‑Riddle offers scholarships for many of the activities found below:

- AS 220 Uncrewed Aircraft Systems: Take the pilot’s seat in the world of drones and autonomous aircraft, mastering the tech and operations that are shaping the skies, seas and beyond.
- AS 120 Principles of Aeronautical Science: Soar through the essentials of aviation — from flight theory to air traffic control — and get a hands-on look at the systems that keep the skies safe.
- Aviation 101: In this free course, step into the cockpit of your imagination and explore the thrill of flight, aircraft and the aerospace industry, laying the groundwork for your future in aviation.

All accepted students are automatically reviewed for institutional scholarships based on grades, extracurricular activities and financial need. We also accept external scholarships and highly encourage students to proactively pursue these opportunities. Additionally, you may be eligible for federal loans and grants, which are determined by your FAFSA.
