Accreditation

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the associate, baccalaureate's, master's and doctoral levels. For detailed information, please visit the University Accreditation page.

Student Grievance

Embry-Riddle Worldwide students are provided the opportunity to express any complaints, grievances, or disputes through Embry-Riddle Worldwide support system.

Students are encouraged to first address any issues with the faculty or staff member for which the grievance is based. If unresolved, the student should provide a written document outlining the situation and submit it to their advisor. It may be necessary for the advisors to elevate the issue to the correct department chair, director or dean.

Distance Education Student Grievance Process

Out-of-state distance education students participating under the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), who have completed the internal institutional grievance process and the applicable state grievance process, may appeal non-instructional complaints to the FL‐SARA PRDEC Council. Individual state policies can be found in the drop-down menu below. For additional information on the FL-SARA Complaint Process, please visit http://www.fldoe.org/sara/complaint-process.stml.

The State of California is not a member of NC-SARA. As such, residents of this state may not appeal through these means and should consult their home state grievance process.
