In 2024, F-35 pilot Capt. Ian Mehl (right) returned to Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus, where he had once been a student and where his younger brother David was currently an Eagle. Capt. Mehl, pictured here with his brother (left), piloted one of two F-35s from Eglin Air Force Base that performed flyovers and conducted a static display, giving students an up-close look at the jets.
