About Human Factors at the Worldwide & Online Campus
The multidisciplinary curriculum is for working professionals, as is evidenced by the flexibility of the online platform and highly relevant content, applications, and assessment protocols.
In addition to the certificate, students earn 12 graduate-level credits,
which can go towards a master’s degree at Embry-Riddle. This program leads students towards the online Master of Science in Human Factors degree by taking 18 additional graduate credits, or 21 additional credits for the thesis option.

A total of 12 credits, four courses, are required to complete the program. The required courses support Human Factors and Ergonomics Society tenets, with a concentration on applied cognition, psychology, physiology, and ergonomics.
Note: Certificate programs are not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid unless taken as part of a degree program.
