Students learn to address customer experience enhancement strategies, uphold airport regulations, implement revenue optimization techniques and promote sustainable airport infrastructure development.
Students can explore airport management while also gaining insight on airline management through a co-created curriculum. This design feature allows Airport and Air Mobility Management students to learn alongside Airline Management students for a period of time. This co-sharing of knowledge allows Airport and Air Mobility Management students to better understand the needs of airlines since airlines are often the primary tenant of an airport.

Student Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Demonstrate both traditional and futuristic approaches to airport operations, airport management, and air mobility management considering factors such as hub size and surrounding landscape.
- Integrate financial principles to make informed decisions related to airport financial management, including cost control, revenue optimization, budgeting, investment analysis, and risk management, with a focus on setting and meeting operational goals.
- Examine the complex regulatory and legal frameworks governing the aviation environment, both domestically and internationally, and their impact on operational and strategic decision-making, while ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks.
- Formulate agile and comprehensive crisis management and business continuity plans that address various operational disruptions, such as natural disasters, security threats, and global health crises, by assessing their potential impacts, devising response strategies, and ensuring continued operations/business continuity.
- Utilize analytical tools and methods to assess and optimize various operational aspects of airports including airside and landside operations, maintenance, safety, disruptions, and customer experience with a focus on new technologies designed to enhance efficiency.
- Integrate leadership and managerial theories and practices to effectively lead diverse teams, demonstrating advanced interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and an understanding of organizational behavior dynamics including HR best practices and labor unions.
