About the Master of Aviation Cybersecurity
In recent years, information belonging to hundreds of millions of aviation customers has been stolen in cyber attacks. Embry‑Riddle offers the Master of Aviation Cybersecurity (MAC) to both define and lead the field of aviation cybersecurity. The MAC program spans the diverse, interconnected aviation ecosystem that includes avionics, in-flight entertainment systems, air traffic management systems, aviation maintenance systems, uncrewed aerial systems and aerospace operations.
Students are taught the fundamentals of the aviation industry, such as air transport systems and aviation maintenance, and establish a solid foundation to understand the aviation ecosystem. Students then learn the fundamentals of cybersecurity and cyber risk management and apply them to mitigate cybersecurity risks in the aviation industry. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to anticipate, identify and neutralize cyber threats, ensuring the safety and trust of millions of passengers worldwide.
