The MicaPlex at Embry-Riddle Research Park will house a wide range of lab equipment and will allow access to those who can operate it with competence and efficiency.
The Research Park also includes the construction of a technologically advanced subsonic wind tunnel, capable of delivering flow speeds of up to 230 mph. The instrumentation for the tunnel includes a particle image velocimetry (PIV) system, a 6-component external force & moment balance, a multi-channel pressure measurement capability, and a 3-axis instrumentation traverse.
