Rise and Shine!

“I wake up at 6:30 a.m. most mornings, except on weekends when I sleep in until 9 a.m. Living in the countryside and commuting into the city, the highlight of each morning is enjoying the tranquility of nature for a few minutes before driving into the city and watching it begin to slowly wake up.”

Anywhere, Anytime

Because courses through Embry-Riddle Worldwide are available entirely online, you won’t have to add another commute to your day for classes. Anywhere you have Wi-Fi, you can complete your coursework!

Off to Work

“I currently work as an airport intern at Chico Regional Airport... Whilst the first few hours are spent working in the office on correspondence and developing visual media to be used in support of the airport’s current air service development campaign, the afternoon’s work can range from more office work to field reviews to engaging with tenants, stakeholders and the general public to conducting field inspections that at times lead to corralling wildlife away from the runways in a chase reminiscent of a cowboy wrangling their cattle.”

Opportunities Arise

Embry-Riddle Worldwide is a great option for those who have already embarked on their career journey and wish to advance especially those working in aviation.

Study Sessions

“When I first began my studies, my optimal place was in my bedroom, where I could hole up for an entire day working. As of late, my favorite places have ranged from studying in my kitchen to studying in my family’s hangar.”

Where Should YOU Study?

If you’re not local to campus, finding a study spot may feel like a daunting task. Local coffee shops or libraries can be great places to get out of your usual environment and get your study on!

Time for Class

“My favorite classes I’ve taken were my Humanities and Ethics class with Dr. Jill Legare and my Special Topics in Humanities course I took with Dr. Debra Bourdeau whilst studying abroad in Belgium and Germany.”

Study Abroad Worldwide

Although Worldwide students may complete their degree online, exciting in-person learning opportunities are plentiful. In June 2023, Aidan took courses in both Brussels, Belgium, and Frankfurt, Germany.

Leisure Time

“Besides my studies, some of my favorite things to do are cooking, reading, playing games... hiking around the property and working on some of my digital design projects for work. I also often like to take my car and drive down to the Bay Area to take in the scenery and walk around in some of the smaller sleeper communities.”

Time for Your Hobbies

Due to the flexible nature of courses offered through Worldwide, you can arrange your schedule to allow for moments to pursue your passions and hobbies along with your education and career.

Prepping for Tomorrow

“Before going to bed, I often will have a movie on whilst reading a book; my current book is the Memoirs of the Duc de Saint-Simon. Before a workday, I’ll usually shower and prepare an outfit for the next day, whilst before a free day I might take the time to play a game.”

Ask a Librarian

Embry-Riddle's Hunt Library is available for use by both Daytona Beach and Worldwide students. If they don’t have what you’re looking for? Just ask, and they’ll order it in for you to borrow.
