Rise and Shine!
“I wake up at 6:30 a.m. most mornings, except on weekends when I sleep in until 9 a.m. Living in the countryside and commuting into the city, the highlight of each morning is enjoying the tranquility of nature for a few minutes before driving into the city and watching it begin to slowly wake up.”
Off to Work
“I currently work as an airport intern at Chico Regional Airport... Whilst the first few hours are spent working in the office on correspondence and developing visual media to be used in support of the airport’s current air service development campaign, the afternoon’s work can range from more office work to field reviews to engaging with tenants, stakeholders and the general public to conducting field inspections that at times lead to corralling wildlife away from the runways in a chase reminiscent of a cowboy wrangling their cattle.”
Study Sessions
“When I first began my studies, my optimal place was in my bedroom, where I could hole up for an entire day working. As of late, my favorite places have ranged from studying in my kitchen to studying in my family’s hangar.”
Time for Class
“My favorite classes I’ve taken were my Humanities and Ethics class with Dr. Jill Legare and my Special Topics in Humanities course I took with Dr. Debra Bourdeau whilst studying abroad in Belgium and Germany.”
Leisure Time
“Besides my studies, some of my favorite things to do are cooking, reading, playing games... hiking around the property and working on some of my digital design projects for work. I also often like to take my car and drive down to the Bay Area to take in the scenery and walk around in some of the smaller sleeper communities.”
Prepping for Tomorrow
“Before going to bed, I often will have a movie on whilst reading a book; my current book is the Memoirs of the Duc de Saint-Simon. Before a workday, I’ll usually shower and prepare an outfit for the next day, whilst before a free day I might take the time to play a game.”
