Meet Emma R.

  • Campus: Prescott
  • Degree: Global Security & Intelligence Studies
  • Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
“The biggest way I was involved at Embry-Riddle was housing... I led a team of Resident Advisors (RAs) and was a supervisor in one of our upper-classman village complexes, which was super fun. On top of that, I was part of our Women’s Ambassadors Association, where we did everything we could to promote women in STEM on our campus and in the community.”

Good Morning!

“The first stop when I left my apartment was the housing office. I usually liked to check in with my RAs, check if there’s anything needed there for doing interviews or if we just needed some extra hands or help. Then I was usually off to class!"

Dorm Life

Living in an on-campus dorm is a great way to make new friends and get involved in your community!

Off to Class!

“My favorite class was called SIS 340, which is Security Investigations. We usually did hands-on activities, like walking through an investigative case. We had to walk it through with our team, see what it looked like, decide what we thought happened and develop questions to ask to ultimately figure out who did it.”

Major Decisions

The College of Business, Security & Intelligence on the Prescott Campus is the first of its kind in the nation!

Hit The Quad

“My favorite spot on campus... aside from the housing office, would probably be The Quad. We have these chairs out on The Quad that are great, and when it was a nice day, it was a really nice place to read a book, catch up on a documentary or something for class.”

Views from Campus

Nestled in the Bradshaw Mountains of Northern Arizona, our Prescott Campus is surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Getting Involved

“With the Women’s Ambassador Association, we hosted Pups and Pasta for the whole campus, which is a stress-reliever event where we made free pasta for everyone and brought out dogs!”

Club Activities

Our Prescott Campus is home to over 160 unique clubs and organizations, many of whom often host cool events!

Ending the Day

“My roommate, who also worked in housing, and I usually cooked dinner and chilled for a little bit. Then, I usually did homework or more housing stuff to make sure I was caught up on everything. I worked out if I had the time, showered and went to bed!"
