Opportunities for Internships and Research at Embry-Riddle
Embry-Riddle takes great pride in the cutting-edge research conducted by our faculty, students, and scholars. As our research grows and evolves, so too does our need for visiting professors, student interns, and research scholars. If you are interested in coming to Embry-Riddle as a Fulbright Scholar, you will need to follow the application rules and guidelines established by the Fulbright Program.
*Important: Most internship opportunities are unpaid, and you will need to check with the sponsoring professor/department to find out if any remuneration can be provided.
Requesting a DS-2019
Visiting scholars who wish to join one of our research teams need to start by contacting the Lead Professor in charge of a particular project. International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) will assist with the immigration paperwork after you have been invited to join the research project.
- Review our areas of research for possible opportunities (links below).
- Once you have selected one or more potential opportunities, contact the Lead Professor. In order to be accepted, you will need to work directly with the professor overseeing the research.
- After the professor has accepted you via e-mail, you will need to send an e-mail to dbiss@erau.edu, copying the accepting professor, letting ISSS know you have been accepted. ISSS will send you a link to begin your DS-2019 application.
