Students applying to ERLI should have high-beginning level English.

1. Create your ERLI account.

2. Verify Email

  • Check the email address you provided in Step 1. Follow the instructions in the email to verify your email address.

3. Log in to start your ERLI application.

4. Complete Application and Submit application Fee

  • Start a new application. Choose the correct starting term from the dropdown menu in your account, and answer all required questions marked with *red. 

Submit your $50 application fee by:

5. Check your Email Create an ERNIE Account 

  • A few days after submitting the application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your ERNIE account. You must create an ERNIE account to continue with the application process. 

6. Pay Tuition Deposit

  • Pay an initial $200 tuition deposit in ERNIE to secure your classes.

7. Request an I-20

  • Visit the International Student and Scholar Services website to request an initial I-20.

8. Check your ERNIE Account and Complete To-Do's 

  • Your ERNIE account gives you access to payments, class schedule, and Canvas. Once you have accessed your account, click on Campus Solutions Student Homepage and you will see a to-do list. Be sure to complete all of the items on your to-do list.

9. Get a Student Visa

  1. Once you receive an I-20, make an appointment with the U.S. Embassy in your country
  2. Pay the I-901 Fee
  3. Visit the Study in the States website for more information on obtaining a student visa.

10. Submit Proof of Health Insurance

  • Health Insurance is mandatory for all international students, and you will be automatically charged for a Health Insurance Student Plan. If you have insurance that meets ERAU’s minimum requirements, you can apply for an insurance waiver through Campus Solutions.

11. Pay Tuition

  • ERLI will register students 2 weeks before classes start. When you are registered, you must pay for your classes as soon as possible. You can pay your balance in full via credit card, check or electronic transfer. Or, for a $50 fee, you can set up a payment plan and pay in monthly installments following these steps:

    1. Go to Campus Solutions Student Homepage from the main ERNIE page
    2. Click on “Finances” then click on “My Student Account”
    3. Then click “Access Account”
    4. Finally, click on “Payment Plans - Enroll Now” Upon enrolling in the plan, you must submit the first payment plus a $50 fee. Please contact the Office of the Bursar at (386) 226-6280 if you need to make different arrangements for payment.

12. Submit Medical Form

  • You must complete a medical form to demonstrate that you have had all required vaccinations. Complete the medical form found here. Send your completed form to If you have medical records, they must be translated to English.
  • If you are missing shots or cannot verify immunizations, you can get those vaccinations in your home country before you leave, or in the US, after you arrive to the university.

13. Pay Housing Deposit

  • If you will be living on campus, you must complete a housing application and pay a housing deposit in ERNIE

14. Purchase a Meal Plan

  • Go to the dining website to read about the meal plans available and select one.

15. Take Placement Test on Campus

  • You should arrive on campus in time to take the placement test. Please check the ERLI calendar for dates and times.
