Dimitrios Siskos holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting Studies from Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, a Master of Science in Project Management from the City University of Seattle and a Doctorate in Finance from the Swiss Management Center (SMCU) in Switzerland. Prior to his academic career, he worked for 20 years as a finance and accounting specialist in the industry sector.
Dimitrios Siskos specializes in finance, accounting and business, with a particular focus on financial statement analysis, finance and accounting for decision-making and business venture evaluations. His knowledge enables him to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful evaluations of a company's value, accounting for factors that influence its financial health and market position. Recently, his publications have focused on aviation finance, airport management and regional air transport systems. He is currently working on writing a chapter for a book on the sustainable development of the Caribbean Aviation sector, securing an internal grant, researching insourcing vs. outsourcing in aviation, serving as a co-editor for a special issue, mentoring students and co-writing a new paper on aviation finance in small jurisdictions.
