The Academic Advancement Center (AAC) at the Daytona Beach Campus provides free peer tutoring services for foundational (100- and 200-level) general education courses that will set you on a path to academic success.
All Peer Tutors and Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders are trained and work closely with faculty to ensure that the topics covered during the sessions are useful for the students and relevant to the lectures.
Academic Advancement Center (A²) Tutoring
The Academic Advancement Center (A²), located on the 1st floor of Residence Hall 3 at the Daytona Beach Campus provides free, walk-in peer tutoring for foundational (100-200 level) STEM courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering. Whether you need help with coursework, exam preparation or a quiet place to study, A² offers a supportive learning environment with peer tutors readily available throughout operational hours — no appointment required.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)
In addition to the tutoring labs, there are additional offerings of course-specific Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions for foundational Math, Physics and Chemistry courses.

Engineering Educational and Research Laboratories
Each course in the Engineering Fundamentals curriculum (ENGR 101, ENGR 115 and ENGR 120) has a designated laboratory space for use as a classroom and for projects related to the course. These spaces are frequently equipped with tutors and available for supervised use.
The primary laboratory space for the Engineering Fundamentals Department is the Engineering Student Project Center.
Aviation Learning Center
The Aviation Learning Center (ALC) in the College of Aviation provides free tutoring with a primary focus on Aeronautical Science and Flight course related topics.
Communications Tutoring
Located in the Mori Hosseini Student Union, the Center for Communication and Digital Media (CCDM) aims to expose students and faculty to various communication and digital literacy skills through one-on-one tutoring. They can assist with written, spoken and digital communications through one-on-one tutoring.

For students who choose to engage with the online modality, tutor.com is available through your Canvas learning management system.
