Campus Academic Program Accreditations, Recognitions and Approvals
Program-specific accreditation goes beyond institutional recognition. It certifies that individual degree programs meet the rigorous, independently established standards of the industries they serve. For students, these designations signal that their credentials carry weight — with employers, licensing bodies and graduate schools worldwide. For faculty, they create accountability frameworks tied to real outcomes. For industry partners, they confirm that Embry‑Riddle graduates arrive prepared to contribute from day one.
Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University holds program-specific accreditations from 10 independent bodies — spanning aviation, engineering, business, safety, security, emergency management and project management. Aviation programs carry accreditation from the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) and direct approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Engineering and computing programs hold accreditation from ABET across multiple commissions, and business programs across all three campuses are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Additional accreditations cover Human Factors (HFES), Homeland Security (CAEMHSE), Emergency Services (IFSAC), Project Management (PMI GAC) and English language instruction (CEA). The Prescott campus holds the NSA/DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation, and Embry‑Riddle Worldwide is recognized by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) across more than a dozen programs.
Together, these designations confirm that an Embry‑Riddle degree is held to the standards of the industries graduates enter.
