Jianhua Liu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and has extensive experience in system design, as well as hardware and software integration. His expertise and research interests span embedded systems, signal processing, wireless communications, machine learning, automatic speech recognition (ASR), and natural language processing (NLP), with a particular focus on aviation applications. His recent research includes the development of ASR/NLP technologies for pilot workload reduction, tools for granular ASR performance analysis, and methods for the transcription and analysis of flight deck communications to support aviation resilience.
Dr. Liu has more than 20 years of teaching experience in a variety of areas, including signal processing, programming, and machine learning. He has a strong interest in the research and development of innovative technologies for aviation and aerospace applications.
