Jordan Potter

Overview

Dr. Jordan Potter has a background in philosophy and applied ethics, specifically bioethics, and has numerous years of experience teaching within philosophy, especially in ethics. In addition to his role as adjunct faculty here at Embry-Riddle, he am also a Clinical Ethicist and Fellowship Supervisor at Wellstar Health System in Atlanta, Georgia, where he performs clinical ethics consultations, teaches ethics to healthcare professionals and completes bioethics research. He received his Ph.D. in Healthcare Ethics from Duquesne University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in advanced bioethics from the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. On a personal note, he is married with three wonderful children: an eleven year old stepdaughter, a six year old son and a four year old son. He is also a major basketball fan and am in year five of writing a fantasy novel that is seemingly never going to be finished.
