Robert Nicholas Dodge

Overview

Robert Dodge retired from the U.S. Navy in 2007 after serving 20 years as a Navy pilot, achieving the rank of Commander (O-5). During his distinguished military career, he flew nine different fixed-wing aircraft types and earned an FAA commercial pilot certificate with single and multi-engine land ratings, as well as B-707 and B-720 type ratings.

Throughout his career, Robert held various leadership, management, administrative, and operational roles in both public and private organizations in the aviation and non-aviation sectors.

In his personal life, Robert is an avid soccer enthusiast, having played in the NCAA (1983–1987) and NASL (1981–1982). He also enjoys fishing and hunting.

Using statistical demographic diversity profile clusters to compare levels of perceived public entrepreneurship in a Midwest state government agency's work groups (Doctoral dissertation).  Available from ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. (1535101553).  Dissertation proposed and tested a statistical work group classification algorithm to overcome the chronic problems that have plagued group phenomena research for more than 80 years.

(1999).  The Use of Internet Technology in Navy Recruiting: The Online Recruiting Station (ORS) (Master’s thesis).  Available from Calhoun, http://hdl.handle.net/10945/13598.  Award-winning thesis proposed a visionary Web-centric recruitment marketing strategy that revolutionized the way that the military services competed for scarce human resources in the 21st Century.  Allocated more than $90 Million in Congressional funding to implement thesis concepts for the US Navy.

ElNavy.com.  (2001 – 2010).  Proposed the concept and led the development of the military’s first-ever website designed to accommodate Hispanic influencers.
