Heather Marriott

Overview

Heather Marriott earned a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Computer Science from Ohio State University.

Before joining academia, Marriott worked as a software engineer specializing in database applications, search engines and software development. She transitioned to higher education in 2006 and teaches computer programming courses in the Department of Computer, Electrical and Software Engineering at Embry-Riddle.

Marriott remains active in software development as a mobile application developer, creating applications for both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Her industry experience and passion for teaching provide students with practical insights into modern software engineering, programming and application development.
