The goal of this research in collaboration with the Bouche-du-Rhone Fire Department (one of the busiest Fire Department in France) is triple:

- Analyzing current operations processes in case of extreme event through observation, exchanges, interviews, documents analysis…;
- Developing tools to improve organizational and operational effectiveness;
- Spreading results and tools to all Fire Department engaged in civil protection.
- Publications in national and international conferences.
