For the 16th consecutive year, Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University has been named as one of the nation’s Great Colleges to Work For, according to a review of universities across the United States by the Great Colleges to Work For® program. This year’s achievement also includes elite Honor Roll status for being cited most often across all recognition categories.

The results — released online on the Great Colleges Program website — are based on a survey of 171 institutions using a comprehensive assessment process. Of those reviewed, 76 were named one of the 2026 Great Colleges to Work For, and only 42 were recognized with top Honor Roll status.

Embry‑Riddle earned honors in the following categories:

  • Job Satisfaction and Support;
  • Compensation and Benefits;
  • Professional Development;
  • Mission and Pride;
  • Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness;
  • Faculty and Staff Well-being; and
  • Confidence in Senior Leadership, a new honor for Embry-Riddle this year.

The Great Colleges to Work For® program recognizes institutions that have been successful in creating great workplaces, as well as furthering research and understanding the factors, dynamics and influences that have the most impact on organizational culture in higher education.

The program evaluates colleges through a two-part assessment process, including an institutional audit of employment data and workplace policies, along with a survey administered to faculty, administrators and professional support staff. Employee responses to the survey serve as the primary factor for determining recognition by the program.
