This Privacy Statement supplements the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Privacy Statement and applies to personal data collected, used, disclosed or processed by ERAU Asia in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). Except as expressly stated below, the University Privacy Statement remains applicable.

ERAU Asia may use the collected personal information for:

By attending university events or activities, individuals acknowledge that photographs, videos and recordings may be taken for legitimate university purposes. Individuals who do not wish to be photographed or recorded may notify the event organizer where practical.

International Data Transfer

As a global university, personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside Singapore. Where such transfers occur, we will take reasonable steps to ensure a standard of protection comparable to that required under applicable data protection laws.

Access and Correction of Personal Data

Subject to applicable laws, you may request:

  • Access to personal data that we hold about you;
  • Information about how your personal data has been used or disclosed; and
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Please note that withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain services or fulfill contractual, academic, administrative or legal obligations.

Retention of Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws, regulations, accreditation requirements, university policies or legitimate business purposes.

When personal data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, anonymized or otherwise disposed of.
