Assistant Professor Catherine Underwood teaches in the Mathematics Department. Prior to joining the Daytona Beach campus, she taught for many years with Embry-Riddle Worldwide. She earned her M.A. in Mathematics from the University of South Florida and her M.S. in Statistics, with research work in response surface methodology, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
Currently, Professor Underwood is serving on the CTLE Leadership and Innovation in Faculty Teaching (LIFT) Council, and she actively participates in many of the faculty development programs and seminars.
