Jim Hartman

Overview

James Hartman is an adjunct faculty member of the world-wide College of Aviation Department of Aeronautics. He is also a faculty associate with the aviation program in the Polytechnic School, one of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (A.S.U.). He joined the faculty at A.S.U. in 2007. He is a pilot and received his flight training in Rotor craft from Quantum Helicopters at the Chandler Municipal Airport in Chandler Arizona and fixed-wing training through the Arizona Flight Training Center (a Lufthansa Company) and Mesa Pilot Development at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa Arizona. 

Dr. Hartman is also a federal employee having worked for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, D.C. and Phoenix Arizona starting federal service in 2004 to the present. He has also worked for the United States Air Force Research Laboratory/Lockheed Martin Technology Services on the F-16/AWACS Flight Simulator Training program also in Mesa Arizona, and the City of Phoenix Aviation Department (Air-side and Land-side Operations) in Phoenix Arizona.
