Steve  Villone

Overview

Mr. Steve Villone is an adjunct professor of Cybersecurity Analysis.  He has worked in several areas of IT, including programming, systems analysis, database design, project management and cybersecurity for companies such as American Express, the Traveler's Insurance Company and for 36 years at Wells Fargo. He has a Master's in Business Administration from Wake Forest and a Master of Science in IT from Capella University.  His areas of interest are history and cybersecurity.  His expertise is cybersecurity.


With more than 17 years of teaching experience, Mr. Villone has taught courses in networking (Network+), introductory cryptography and cybersecurity.  He is a recipient of the Rising Star (2022) Award at SNHU University, where he also teaches as an adjunct professor.  As of 2025, he has obtained his CompTIA CySA+ Cybersecurity Analyst credential.
