Tyler Earnest is an aviation professional specializing in the integration of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) vehicles into the National Airspace System (NAS). He currently serves as an aviation program analyst and consultant with Crown Innovations Inc., supporting Federal Aviation Administration initiatives focused on the safe and efficient integration of emerging aviation technologies.
Before joining Crown Innovations, Earnest held flight operations and technical training roles at Workhorse Aero. As a remote pilot in command, he conducted developmental UAS flight testing and evaluation and helped translate operational experience into procedures and training. He later led technical training for the Aero department, overseeing instruction in flight and ground operations, operational procedures, aircraft maintenance and assembly. Earnest also gained Part 135 operational experience as a remote pilot in command with UPS Flight Forward.
Earnest earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Science and an M.S. in Aeronautics with distinction, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds Federal Aviation Administration commercial pilot and remote pilot certificates with airplane single-engine land, multiengine land and instrument ratings.
