Advanced Computing and Simulations Lab

The primary use of the Advanced Computing and Simulations Lab (ACSL) is to support student projects and faculty research activities in High-Performance Computing (HPC). Various computing resources are available to perform computer simulation-based analyses and designs.

The main ACSL facility includes multiple high-performance Windows workstations and Linux servers to support a variety of computer simulation applications. The facility also supports Embry-Riddle's official national student competition teams, such as the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the Design-Build-Fly (DBF) Team, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) AeroDesign Team and the Formula Racing Team. The Undergraduate Research Institute (URI) sponsored student-faculty pair research activities are also supported at ACSL.
